I dunno I wouldn't say it was. He was facing someone that was always going to come forward and try and be competitive, also if he did get the win then it would have been one of his best wins. Simply put Rose doesn't have a great resume there are better more deserving fighters in line at 154 if I am being honest. Matthew Hall, Prince Arron, Gary Woolcombe are much more proven.

And he had also been out for a few months, could have psychologically been affected by his last fight and whether he deserved it or not he was in line for a British title shot later this year. Could have picked a much softer touch than Maxwell to shake the rust off, get some rounds, and most importantly win.
