Yeah.It wasn't long after that last DUI when I asked.
When you think about it,if someone like Marco gets in touch to see if you're OK,unless he's standing in front of you and can see you looking like ****,you're not gonna say "Well Marco, the truth is I'm doing ****.I'm snorting the Patsy Clines with a vengeance" so what else could I really have expected?
Don't know about you mate, but this is even worse than Gatti for me,despite the inevitability of it all.

the guy made such an impact. You couldn't watch a prime Tapia fight without getting drawn in no matter who you were. I remember watching the Romero fight with my pop at my grampas (first and last time i watched a fight with my grampa) and grampa who hadn't watched boxing since the 60's was at the edge of his seat swearing at the screen! I remember it like it was yesterday, my most memorable boxing experience. Even before this news the guy crossed my mind every other day, he'll be in my thoughts til I join him. Gatti was a fave of mine too but no one impacted me like Tapia..... I'm gonna miss him, Mayweather Jr would have to die to equal the amount of shitty I feel about this as he's the only fighter I've come close to being as big of a fan of as Tapia but Tapia was my first #1.

the cops say they foud a hydrocodone pill in his body and he had complain of stomach pains in the hours leading up to his death. Pepto bismal was also foud on the scene. Will be a couple weeks till the auptopsy results, but its not beyond reason that this may not have been an overdose, though his wife suspects it was. Also, police found NO proof of illegal drugs on the scene.

What would the Pepto have to do with an OD, P? I wasn't aware it had any severe implications stemming from interaction with other meds.

    Now, the hydrocodone..

I guess his wife believes he had other drugs in his system. The fact that he has complained of pains and the fact that there was no illegal drugs found on the scene raises question to whether or not this was an overdose. A locked box was found that did contain perscription drugs for pain and a drug used for schitzophrenia. maybe it was a bad combination of drugs, but he seemed to be having abdominal problems in the hours before he took anything for his stomach pain.

    He said "I can't be alone,I WON'T be alone"
Carl Froch seems quite choked up,said Rachel took it bad.
    Not getting any easier.

They met in Las Vegas working for Showtime. They all went out together with Theresa's sisters there too.
    He seems genuinely gutted.
Carl mentioned a Johnson fight but not sure why in Las Vegas.Didn't they fight in A.C?
