Tarver vs Dawson

Who wins and why? I think Tarver is done and Chad will box circles around him

 

Tarvers done? He looked fantastic against Woods and Dawson lost to G. Johnson in my eyes. Your boy Chad is way overrated and I get the feeling that his glass jaw is gonna get shattered when he fights Tarver. I don't like Tarver at all but he'll beat Dawson with relative ease.

 

I think Dawson beats Tarver clearly on points.

First Chad is not my boy,not even close after what he pulled on Diaconu,second Tarver outboxed a guy who is very limited and who lost 3 to Glen Johnson altough the judges saw it different.It was a lot more easy to look good against Woods than against Johnson.I disagree but everybody has an opinion

 

I'm picking Tarver to stop Dawson. I think Tarver has deceptive and legitimate punching power at 175, and I think he's quick enough and crafty enough to catch Dawson with some fight-ending blows.

At least i hope so. I think it's 50/50 between a Dawson UD/Tarver KO. If the Tarver that showed up against Woods shows up in terms of improved hand speed/foot speed, i would lean towards Tarver. Tarver is one of the most underrated fighters in boxing period.

I hope so too after what he did nut my heart tells me Tarver(just cuz I wanna see Chad down) but my mind tells my Dawson,the younger,faster,slicker fighter

 

And i had Tarver beating Johnson both times.

When they first fought, Johnson was coming off of his big KO of RJJ and i think the judges naturally focused a bit too much on Johnson's similiar aggression against Tarver. They gave little credit to Tarver's solid counter punching and accurate shots when he did throw. It was a SD but i think Tarver won. Close but clear IMO. In their rematch, he pretty much schooled Johnson.

 

I agree with you that its easier to look good against Woods, but at the same time, if Johnson had dominated Woods the way Tarver did, they wouldn't have fought three times. I've seen Dawson almost get stopped against Adameck and Johnson. I think Tarver's a better, more complete fighter than both those guys. I just don't see "Bad" Chad making it to the final bell in this one. Tarver's old, but he has relatively low miles on his body cause he got a late start in boxing. Tarver's fought and beaten better competition and IMO is going to put Dawson to sleep.

 

The rematch was clear,don't know about the first one,maybe Tarver one it maybe not.I gave it to Johnson UD

Man I hope you are right about Tarver KOing Dawson,I really wanna see him exposed.But at the same time Tarver fought Woods in the USA,Glen fought him 3 times in the UK,saw all three fights,the first one was the most clearer to me,the one scored a draw.Glen been robbed
