Am i the only person who thought that Johnson hurt Dawson really bad and won the fight. His jaw is very suspect. He has been dropped by two fighters and was on wobley legs against Johnson.
So he has been dropped twice...Each time he got up and fought. He didn't hold on for dear life. When Harding knocked him down that was from a jab which was more of a balance issue...he got up and won the round. Glen Johnson has buzzed a lot of fighters, hell he had Tarver hurt. I think his chin is fine, its not granite but its not suspect. Like majority of other fighters...if hit hard in the right spot...they will go down.
Johnson never hurt tarver i just watched both fights. Dawson had to hold on or he was going down. Dawsons chin will be exposed.
I've seen both fights as well...and Tarver appeared to be hurt in both. He didnt go down but he did stop mounting offense and hold on at every opportunity. Tarver can go into a better shell than Dawson.
yea johnson stunned him a couple of times and i thought johnson won the fight, very close by the way so it could have gone either way. johnson is a tough customer that would give anybody at 175 trouble. what i liked is the fact that dawson kept fighting did not let it bother him too much. even when he got knocked down by adamek and harding he shaked it off and still won. Also keep in mind tarver and johnson styles are very different and we know styles make fights.
