Gervonta Davis and Josh Taylor have been going at it on twitter after Davis called Taylor out. Wouldn't that be a brilliant fight? Taylor's size would be a serious advantage but Davis' speed would make it a great fight. It's one I'd like to see and it'd be well worth £20. Prograis 2 followed by Davis would be an excellent couple of fights and the scotsman is capable of winning both.
I don’t think Davis has any realistic ambition to face Taylor. He’s a great fighter but Josh is far, far too big for him. File this under calling out a newly crowned champion on the wave of massive exposure to stay relevant.
Based on Davis’ career projection so far I see A zero percent chance TMT put him in this fight. they don’t seem to entertain offers on their stars from other platforms and based on the fact they paid Fonseca $35k and Ruiz $100k they don’t have the money to pay Davis and Taylor multi million dollar paydays unless it’s on PPV in the US which this isn’t. Hearn would offer them both the fight in the UK and on PPV but I would eat my hat if TMT took the risk bearing in mind they wouldn’t take $6m to fight Farmer who would have been a routine win
Davis is the definition of a "weight bully" a guy who consistently fights dudes brought up from lower weights. He's not even fought at 135 yet and is calling out the man at 140!...joker

Davis is good, but he isn't nearly good enough to make up for the size difference. Taylor would squash him.
All I’m gonna say here is that Tank Davis is a special, special fighter. I think most don’t realise just how good he is. I think he’s going to do crazy things in boxing, just see. If the fight happens I think he’ll eventually knock out Lomachenko but let’s just wait and see.
