Now, I rate Prograis and think he, Taylor and Ramirez are best three 140’s in the World......But

Whether it’s forums, YouTube or Twitter the amount of Noxing fans that fawn over Prograis is mind blowing. So, be honest. How many Prograis fights have you watched? And taking in go account the level of opposition, what are your thoughts?

I want to do a big post but I’ll see where the replies take me. I’ll say Three little things to kick this off.

Taylor has fought and beat the better opposition AND for the beast of the division, Prograis does not have the scary KO’s on his resume that ‘huge punchers’ contain. He’s beats fighters down in the same way Taylor does but Taylor’s power is nowhere near revered even after knocking Postol down late.

Although older. Prograis’ 15th fight was an 8 round decision against Amos Cowart, a fighter who lost his next fight and never fought again. Taylor beat Postol in 13th fight. And Prograis 10th fight was VS fighter with a 2-0 record, Taylor dismantled Davies.

Davies KO last weekend was more scary than anything Prograis has produced, that’s all I’m saying. A one round demolition of a journeyman doesn’t cut it for me.

Abel Ramos arguably Prograis 2nd/3rd best win, in what his 17/18th fight. Taylor after Postol fights Ramos over 10, he stops him IMO.

So, Taylor-Prograis realistic proposition in WBSS. How would it end?

Wow I think your been extremely harsh on Prograis! You can't just compare fight number for fight number like that. Different fighters learn at different paces and are in different trajectories.

What matters is they both seem to be coming into their prime right now!

    I'm excited

Taylor beats prograis imo but it would defo be a tough fight for both men. Hopefully with Taylor entering the wbss we get to see the fight made.

He is good. His boxing skills against Ramos impressed me, nice jab and good speed. Not sure he’s the boogeyman though.

I was making a point for debate, there’s no conclusive proof in Prograis’ opposition so far that he’s the boogeyman if the division and he’s hardly beat top opposition.

But since he’s in his prime, what fights have you seen and performances impressed you that makes you feel I’m being ‘extremely harsh’?
