I agree. Taylor is like the only underrated American fighter on ESB. I sometimes wonder why that is. I guess it was the close fights he got the nod in. He would perhaps have been respected more if he had not gotten the nod, because then people would have felt that he really did win etc. I don't know.. just strange (and rare) to see a truely good american boxer underrated like that.
Pavlik/Taylor 3 is a card they can play down the road when they run out of options. Right now, both guys have plenty of options. But i almost expect it to happen.
Calzaghe beat Hopkins much easier than Taylor did. Kessler has no workrate ? Are u ****ing kidding me ? Did u miss the Mundine or Andrade fight ? Also not to mention the Calzaghe who fought Kessler would beat any ****ing fighter from 160 to 175 easily.
Kessler takes this one for me. Jermain doesn't deal well with a good jab, and Kessler has possibly the best jab in boxing at the moment as well as better hand speed and footwork than Pavlik. Taylor is also too raw and prone to too many mistakes to beat Kessler. Basically Jermain (imo) will lose against every elite fighter he faces who is disciplined and can maintain a good workrate, thankfully there aren't that many out there.
I can see the Brit fans woke up from their side of the world and put in their 2 cents on this thread.
