It looks like Serrano is the favorite against Taylor which is surprising to me. Am I the only one not completely sold on Serrano? She’s not a big puncher and seems to plod forward a lot. Katie had an amateur style where she fights in and out and looks to rack up points, I see her outpointing Serrano.
Taylor got battered by a full-time police officer in Persoon. For someone with the financial resources and time that she has, that's shocking. A professional tennis player wouldn't even lose games to an amateur, never mind a set or a match; similarly with just about any sport. Women's boxing is a farce.
Serrano is a smooth operator, very technical and has superb boxing skills. Katie Taylor is very good but she can be outboxed. Bad thing for her though, is that Serrano can mix it up as well and has more tools in the tool box to win this fight. Taylors best chance i feel, is to somehow get Serrano to ditch her gameplan and force a rough and rugged type fight otherwise Serrano is going to school her imo.
Taylor schools Serrano and wins all rounds. Taylor is a proven world champion, her cabinet is full of gold medals. Serrano can't be compared to her. Easy win for Taylor.
Well first if all the odds are more or less 50-50.Taylor opened as a slight favorite and is a slight underdog now. Doesnt mean much. Tbh I’m not liking what I’ve seen from Katie recebtly but it s absurd to say Amanda isnt a big puncher. She’s arguably the biggest puncher in female boxing,has a decent skill set abd eye pleasing style. Katie has some size and strength on her which in female boxing counts a lot. I still favor Serrano slightly.
So is Serrano mate. Depends on what you like,dominating a weight or going ip and down and dominating.
Serrano doesn't have any gold medals. She's got none. Beating Serrano will be walk in a park for Taylor. 100-90 Taylor.
Serrano is a super-talented fighter and hits hard but she’s come up a lot of weights to 135 and Taylor is super strong at this weight. Taylor is very good at turning fights into a war so I can see Serrano getting sucked into this type of fight and losing. But it’s winnable for both women this one.
Idk man, Serrano has that manly look going on and I believe her sister is a dyke so she gets a lot of influence from her. Katie while not the best looking broad seems like the soft, sensitive quiet type.
I mean, Serrano although a woman has won legit world titles in 7 different weight classes. Although they give world titles out like candy in women's boxing, it's still something to consider.
