I know it is, but I found the term utterly ridiculous as shipping means sending, so hearing Adam Smith say shipping shots about a fighter getting battered didn't make sense Now some other posters have explained it, I get it, so it's fine. Still think it sound stupid though
I've been around boxing a long time. Boxed amateur and pro. "Shipping punishment" has ALWAYS meant taking a lot of damage.
Too brave for his own good, unfortunately, but a very exciting and entertaining fighter, nonetheless. Reminds me of a Gatti/Ward style fighter. All of the names you mentioned will be fun fights to watch. Even maybe Liam Smith aswell.
