This self aggrandizing, overrated trainer, continually harps about the mental aspect of boxing and yet has demonstrated time and again that he is clueless about this facet of fighting. This is a man who verbally berates his fighters and treats them like children. He is also a lousy commentator with his endless verbal clinics during fights.

I wish I had a dollar for every punch he's failed to call during fight because he's too busy trying to make himself sound like an expert.

Teddy would pick Pee Wee Herman to beat Wladimir. Not sure why he hates Wlad so much.

Teddy is no moron. You think you know boxing better than Teddy?

Well Teddy got the first part right when he said something like "you have to go with Klitschko for a number of obvious reasons" but then he f*cked up

It's obvious that for some reason Atlas has some sort of bias about Klitschko. He always has something negative to say about him and generally ignores any of his attributes.

He's obsessed with this mental aspect thing with fighters and I haven't read a single comment by any of the fighters that worked with him that made him out to be as great as he thinks he is. In fact some of the comments from Moorer and Lalonde are very frank in calling him an idiot.

In his book, Atlas even admits to saying that he wanted to murder Lalonde after he fired him going so far as to showing up at the door of Lalonde's apartment with a gun.

And this guy wants to tell us about the mental aspect of boxing?

It's more surprising when he is right. He was wrong about Kessler-Calzaghe and predicted a 5th round KO in Pavlik-Taylor 2...
