im nearly halfwat through reading this very good book. i was very interested in his days training mike tyson but 1 thing that sticks in my head is the way they parted company with teddy holding the gun to his head. i was wondering whether i shud take this with a pinch of salt or has anybody heard this from anywhere else

    thoughts.....

Teddy Atlas never tells a lie or exaggerates anything.

Have you got to the part where he fights 50 ninja's on bamboo shoots about 100ft in the air armed with only his aggression while they have full ninja swords and ****?

The bit where him and Shannon Briggs get into a street fight with red necks is hilarious but I think it is a bit over the top.

I've just finished reading it myself mate. Loved hearing about how he got into Moorer's head and figured out his personality and what he needed. The redneck fight bit was also quality as mentioned above

Good book, given the subjects and the writers style.

The gun stuff etc i take with a pinch of salt but at the same time think, surely someone wouldnt say or have printed...such things ?

Regarding, libels n slander or however people sue people or such a situation arises

Celebrities, sportsmen etc etc would surely pull a court case if such things were unfounded.

    Then i remember........its Teddy Atlas !!!!!!!!!!!!

How about the Donnie LaLonde aborted assasination attempt and the doorman duties at the Thomas A Becket? Great book though
