The above list is in chronological order and not best from 1 to ten as LOUIS, JOHNSON, and MARCIANO would likely be rated in the top five of that list of ten.
I think it pretty obvious that Tyson, Holmes, Ali, Lewis and their contemporaries could not possibly make this list and anyone who put them in there had rocks in their head. I think Peter Jackson should be included in the list, without question, and of course, Sullivan. Other than that it is a pretty good list. Though Wills, Walcott, Charles, Schmelling, Baer and possibly even Willard and Carnera must consider themselves pretty unlucky omissions.
Marciano, Louis, Dempsey, Tyson. That is top 4. Holyfield and Foreman deserve mention for longevity, although at best neither was all time great, overall careers were great. Sulivan for bridging gap from bareknuckes to glove era. Jeffires, Charles, Ali. Vitali may belong in top 10, I would like to see him in tougher fight to see how he reacts.

Cooper would have stopped Holyfield (and Moorer) if Holyfield did not receive d extra time 4 "fixing" his glove (same with Moorer and same with Henry Cooper vs Muhammad Ali) . Lewis fouled by holding behind d head and hitting with an uppercut . Hardly defining fights ? they would have been 4 Cooper if he won by stoppage in both like he deserved 2 . And getting stopped by Cooper as well would have put Moorer in2 a journeyman status and ended Holyfield's reign . Cooper was in fact d true lineal champ after that fight . D supposedly chinny Carl Williams did stop Cooper fair & square and so did old George Foreman . McCall stopped Lewis , Akiwande & Maskaev and was also competitive vs prime Tucker , Douglas , Norris & Fergusson , while his "loss" 2 Lewis doesn't count as he was in no condition 2 fight . McCall > Lewis and this is how he will alwyas squueze in2 my top 10 . Ibeabuchi fought Tua 2 an actual 12 rounds draw and stopped Byrd , but I can understand if some1 keeps him just below his top 10 or even top 15 . Valuev stopped McCline & Barrett , never went down and obviously never trained seriously 4 his fights and is 1 of d very few 2 probably never use PEDs . Tua might have been worse than a prime Tyson , but prime 4 prime if they met about 3 times , 1 punch would have made it irrelevant . Tua stopped Ruiz , Maskaev , Izon , Sullivan , Oquendo , an undefeated Darroll Wilson who just KOd an undefeated Shannon Briggs in his previous fight , drew with Rahman and took Lewis d distance . He never lost 2 Byrd & Ibeabuchi despite fighting them . Akiwande beat Tucker , Norris , he even outpointed Timo Hoffman in Germany (!!) if it says anything 2 u . KOd Maurice Harris @ 1 and Jeremy Williams @ 3 , knocked Lennox Lewis down but got disqualified 4 using d same tactics Wladimir Klitschko uses 2day . But u probably haven't seen Tua , McCall & Cooper fights and hence these questions , or maybe u watched them only once .
