I watched it, he lost but the margin was ridiculous. Way to many punches not scored for Sutherland.

Yeah that was ****ing awful scoring. He definitely lose but the margin was waaay too wide.

The system they are trying to employ is just not really realistic with people doing it. Until they have some kind of punch zone super camera tracking or something they should just use some kind of adapted 10 point must.

To train for months, go through a gruelling selection process, to sacrafice so much and to be told you didnt score a single punch in those first 3 rounds is a kick in the guts.
Though I havent seen a fight go the wrong way yet and I think the computer scoring is the best way for the am's, the way they are doing it has to be looked at.

The Tunisian was a lot better though and had a few shots that werent scored himself. Sutho looked a bit overwhelmed by it all aswell.

the score did seem to be a bit hard on him, but my main problem was he fought a really silly tactical fight for that scoring system

Bobo Andreas has been persevered with for too long as coach. The ridiculous way fights are scored and what you have to do to score points has not filtered through from the coach to the fighters under Andreas. Our guys fight more like pro's ( as do the yanks) and that just wont win you too many fights. Really there is now only a marginal connection between amateur and pro boxing- they are that far apart.Jarrod Fletcher would easily beat the fairy tapping, running Cuban in a pro fight but under this system lost.

too many ounches not scored for everybody. i mean these are elite athletes. it is utterly impossible to get a score of 2 in a four round fight. that just goes to show how bad the scoring system is
