I wondered that, that judge needs to go to specsavers

It was a close fight I thought Dave paris had about right, anyway who cares great result and showed Kel does belong at that level

When I heard that score I was sure Porter had won

Same I was making my way out of the door in the hump especially because the British judge gave it as a draw. I heard that and thought oh for ****s sake that's definitely not for Kell and went to walk out and then. AND THE NEW... Went a bit mad.

Seems the English judge who scored it a draw also didn't realise Brook is a Brit. Fortunately we didn't get another robbery, too many of those happen in boxing.

    Same here.

Was no way I thought 2 Yanks would score it in favour as Kell as wide as they did.

    Was awesome. :hey

I think brook had it by 3 rounds, not 5-6. I do think the IBF watched groves vs froch at wembley and thought, i want a piece of that with brook khan

The thing people need to understand is... a close fight doesn't necessarily have to be scored closely. Each round can be a close affair but if one fighter still shades it, and the judges are using the same criteria to get to their answer of who won the round, he should win those rounds consistently. racking up the points to a wide decision, even tho the fight was close.

I thought porter really didnt land cleanly at all, ultimately that's what it comes down to and it cost him. Aggression without being effective means ****all!!

    Exactly.
Porter tried hard in every round - but was never really effective. Porter lost this boxing match simply because Brook is a better boxer, and proved it on the night.

The 114-114 score was a disgrace.

Don't agree Len, Kell didn't do enough work rounds 1-6 and it showed his inside game needs a lot of work.

I think kel is a better boxer and landed the better punches but in IMHO he could of lost last night due to lack of work rate in 1-6 rounds

De La Hoya sees more value in a Brook win. He sees Wembley. He sees Brook-Khan. Hence the funky scores.

I usually see the boxer by default.. thought he had it for sure because of no knockdowns.

Sometimes it's uppercut and not be uppercut.

So nothing to do with Brook beating Porter in his home, constantly landing the better shots and not just running in with no end product ?
