Highly doubt he’d fight either Usyk or Gassiev at HW. High risk fight for Bellew, if he were to fight them it would have to be for the undisputed cruiserweight title.
Adonis is old and inactive while Bellew has not only gotten better but is on a high streak right now. If Stevenson thinks he'll KO Bellew simply because he did it before then hes mistaken and so are many of his fans.
High streak of what? And how do you measure the improvement in Bellews performance, going by his last 3 fights? Top30 CW, while ducking Briedis, and 2x shot Haye who had no business being in the ring. I’m not exactly trying to diss Bellew here (I do hate him tho), I’m genuinely curious why would anyone think that he’s got a chance against any top level, fit, operator.
I really dispute this vehemently, Adonis has shown no indication of aging (indeed the inactivity spurts may be prolonging his semi-prime). And Bellew has not shown he's gotten better. He's beat no one at the level of Adonis that poses the same dangers as that type of fighter. He hasn't fought a mobile, counter punching, bomber with the ability to fight off the front foot or back foot since Adonis. Adonis had a hand and foot speed advantage as well as a power advantage. A prime Haye would've been equal or higher level than Adonis (maybe) but we all know Haye ain't prime, he's shot to bits. Being heavier, Bellew may absorb the shots better but even at LHW when they fought he was much bigger than Adonis. Also, being heavier, he's gonna be much slower, and he was much slower when they first fought.
Bellew looked emaciated at LHW and chubby at HW. And he's a Grade C fighter at any weight. The Pimp cashes him outside at CW.
