Herbie Hide - In the time of Interim belts, Silver belts & Super Champions I am surprised he has to go through an eliminator. Nothing currently scheduled. Enzo Maccarioneli - Rehab via the Euro route. The situation for him will be clearer after 18th September Rob Norton - Inactive since his January draw with Dolan and since gave up his commonwealth belt. He does not have time on his side to waste. Ola Afolabi - Great win over Enzo, then a delay followed by a defeat and been out for 7 months since David Dolan - An under achiever in the pro ranks. I would like to see him fight for an English belt John Lewis Dickinson - Prize fighter winner. Fighting soon, but when will he be able to cash in? Matty Askin - Only 21 the baby of the division How do you see the division going over the next 12 months?
I'd like to see a Maccarioneli-Afolabi rematch, and also Dickinson-Hide because it should have happened at Prizefighter
Dolan was scheduled to face Dunstan for the English title, but the fight was scrapped for some reason. IMO, our worst division domestically (other than Flyweight/Super Flyweight due to a lack of depth).
Herbie Hides problem is that he's too good and doesnt have any money behind him or a significant fan base. I doubt he'll get a a world title shot anytime soon , Enzo will get a shot before him in my opinion . I'd like to see Enzo Macc fight Huck . I've never really been convinced by Huck although thats based on watching him on Setanta beating up belgians and bulgarian taxi drivers. I reckon Huck's people would see Enzo as an easy defense with a recognizable name and might get a bit of a shock if a fit confident Enzo turned up .
