    Thanks:good. Still non the wiser. Its like the voice-over guy at the end of the opening credits for that tv show 'Soap', "Confused? You soon will be"

    Jack's first major press conference, and the subject of race comes up!

    "Actually, I fought a number of African Americans through the years. My manaer decided who i fought though, the same as any other fighter. I had no problem fighting Harry Wills, or any ohter black man. I even had a contract with Mills at one point but the money fell through. When I said what I said [that he would never fight a black man] boxing wasn't completely legal, and after all the rioting following the Johnson/Jeffries fight, a fight with a black man just wasn't possible. As I recall most of the media agreed with that decision."
