Just watched this and really enjoyed it, a great performance by Wahlberg and Bale. Never knew much about the personal life of Mickey Ward but now I'm definitely going to read his autobiography. Anyone else seen this move? What did you think?
Saw it today, enjoyed it Bale steals it I know some people have an issue with the realism, but if you dis-engage your brain for 2 hours its all good Saw a video earlier that compares the real life exploits with the film, quite interesting really

I did find myself enjoying the music in the film too, anyone know the tune at the beginning as they walk through Lowell?
i watched it on friday & thought it was a decent little watch, it inspired me to watch the shea neary fight on youtube as id never seen it before. the film makers got the scenes spot on & i felt they really done that fight justice...
Yeah that was one fight where the film makers didnt need to sex it up for the screen (Cinderella Man anyone?), although they added in the Ward knockdown unecessarily
