Reading the build up articles you could get taken in, with them stating 'Buglioni has impressed with his all action, hard hitting performances and has marked himself as one of boxing's most exciting young talents.' (Boxing Scene Article)

They are building this guy as he sells tickets and they are running out of ticket sellers.

Has this guy even been in with a Super Middle yet?

Every guy I have seen him in with has either been a career light middle or at best a middleweight. We have already seen him struggle with half of snow whites henchmen.

    So for the next opponent....

    http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=214262&cat=boxer

Another 'Iron Fisted' career middleweight who has lost 10 times and is 39.

They know this guy is going no-where or they would put him in with someone at the very least his own size.

This is not 'building' a fighter this is shielding a fighter!!!

Frank comes accross as a nice lad and I mean him no ill but are people really believing any of this? Bunce and Lillis night after night having to talk about how much he has improved.

Love him to prove me wrong, but as far as I can see as soon as he fights a half decent super middle he is bang in trouble. I think Carl Dilks or someone similar would be a tough tough fight.

You are absolutely spot on. They are desperately trying to protect his '0'. It's incredibly obvious.

Its terrible. And the worst thing is he has struggled badly on a couple of occassions (The one on the horrible card at wembley arena with Clev and Chisora comes to minD).

Shocking opponents. like I say, he is not being built, he is being shielded.

sort of thing that has always happened, they will not want to lose a good ticket seller. they even did it in the 60's with Billy Walker

Isnt that what rabbit hole is known for?

Shielding a fighter only sets them up for a big fall! A loss will usually highlight the flaws and provide a basis to work and improve on.

IMO the way Eubank Jnr is being brought along is almost perfect.

The only thing with Eubank is he needs to be out more now but i also think his level of opposition and variety has been quite good

How many more fights does he need before he fights a genuine SMW?

It was this kind of protecting that ruined Cleverly.

The point is his opponent's arent improving therefore not benefiting anyone other than keeping his 0 for future events!

Again, he has had 12. There are plenty of examples of fighters that fight absolute trash for their first 10, 15, 20 or even 31 fights in a certain fighters case. If any of you have bothered to listen to what Frank has to say he is a very humble guy and is upfront with his flaws and further improvement that he feels he has to make.

Yes he is a big ticket seller so he is more likely to be protected but again he is a novice fighter and has plenty of time ahead of him. there are far worse fighters out there who have been fighting for far longer who are still fighting low quality opposition like this.

hate it when an 0 is protected to the hilt does a loss really do that much damage to a carrer bring back the old days when it did not matter , if anything a loss can be a learning curve
