couldn't figure out another way to do that.... just kidding though. i like jeff a lot, i've just accepted the fact that he's never gonna be the fighter he was and he's never gonna be able to hang with the elites.

This Express was derailed in the UK a little over 3 years ago. These days the train is running sporadically if at all. That being said, I wish Jeff Lacy good luck. He's a good guy and deserves a break.

That was a quality win, Reid should have a win over Ottke and possibly Calzaghe and was reknowned for having an iron chin. Reid was past his prime and screwed a bit by the ref imo though but it wouldnt have made a difference.

Lacy was a fair bit better than given credit for now, but that night I could see him being ruined in front of my eyes, I kept hoping he'd get pulled out after the 8th, that was a nasty nasty sustained beating

BUT I WONT JOIN, IM A JONES JR FAN :D

That was the final appearance of the prime Lacy, a better fighter than he gets credit for being these days. He was much more explosive and fluid then, despite all the muscle, and he didn't believe he could lose.

The Calzaghe fight and the shoulder injury ruined him. He's done.
