The kid Joey Spencer

The kid hasn't fought anyone but he is only 18 and has a solid amateur background. I know it is WAY early but what are your thoughts on him? He seems to have decent power but defense is a bit suspect.

Thought it might be fun to talk about someone other than the "name" fighters. Reminds you a bit of a young Canelo or Arturo Gatti.

Looks impressive, but hard to tell against this competition.

 

1. I thought his recent TV win was a fix. He stopped the guy with a partially blocked body shot.

 

Interesting. I didn't notice this. In the long run, though, this won't matter. He will have to prove his abilities against tough competition.
