I know this may be old and done to death but i want your opinion on who would win between prime Ken and prime Frank shamrock and why.

If youre thinking they are brothers they wont fight each other ever never in any time space or universe then you are wrong cuz they arent biologically brothers and they dont like each other to much.

They arent real brothers!!!! Well that's news...

But seriously both are absolutely essential for the development of MMA as we know it. But Frank takes this

Franks got better stand up, better ground game in terms of fighting form top & bottom, better cardio, better ring smarts, better sideburns, better chin

Im sure Ken didnt weight more than 220lbs, and Frank was around 190-200, so I dont know where you got 50lbs from, the SF fights? That wasnt his prime

Frank got better, trained with Maurice Smith on his striking and became a well rounded MMA fighter, arguably one of the 1st who could strike and submit

    Ken didnt

That they would now fight each other has nothing to do with them not being biologically related. Its all about them badly falling out when Frank wanted to take control of his career and Ken not being able to handle that his brother was becoming a fully-fledged world class fighter.

As to who's the better fight - Ken is probably more important as a pioneer but Frank is to me up there in my top five best fighters of all time. Nobody - I mean nobody - has retired a major championship like he did the UFC light heavyweight title.

Do you think Frank could stop Ken Will? I see a lopsided decision myself or maybe an RNC for Frank

Ken did have pretty heavy hands he did knock out kimo by knee which isnt to bad either.
Ken was stronger and Kens prime would be early UFC when the ufc did somewhat good and Frank didnt do so good at the time but when the ufc went down hill Frank did somewhat great.
Ken got agressive submissions, Frank got accurate and crisp with his strikes but he didnt have the same power as Ken

Yeah that's what I see as well. The fight would probably only make sense around 2000 or 2001, and Frank would just do what he did to Tito but even worse because Ken's conditioning is even worse.

I think Franks competition was a bit tougher than the UFC early days fella. Kimo is rubbish and if you want a demonstration of Ken's stand up at the time go watch Shamrock v Severn II

Horn and Tito are better wns in the UFC than any of Ken's

I havent seen to many of the both fighters i have seem some fights from each fighter so I may be wrong but from what i saw Ken had better power in his hands.
He moved pretty well for his weightclass too

You are overrating Ken's power and power isnt everything, see Paul Daley for example He's as inept on the ground as Ken is on his feet

It's a damn shame Franks prime was in the 'dark ages', maybe hurt his legacy retiring the 1st time like he did, but he was leagues ahead of Ken at their best
