Lets be real Mayweather is not the number 1 welter why because he beat baldomir,judah and hatton..Give me a break..Fight a True welter..C'mon guys you know this...These are the true top 10 welters right now head to head basis..

Head to head is a little different though

 

This is about as close as it gets. The 4 and 5 spot go either way. I am a Mayweather fan, but seriously this is a tough nine to attempt to run through. Williams and Mararito with their reach then the rest of the guys are just tough. I say take out Cotto and call it a day!:happy

 

I agree with you about Mayweather not being the top welterweight. He has not faced a serious welterweight contender. I guess Judah is an ok challenge but Baldomir definately wasnt especially since he has Margarito offering him 8 mil at the same time. Baldomir is nothing but a gatekeeper.

Cintron,Clottey,Berto,Cotto,Mosley,Williams and Margarito would all destroy Hatton.. Hatton sucks..Cintron,Cotto,Margarito and Mosley would win within 1-3 rounds..really im not joking i think margo takes him in 1..cotto in 3..cintron in 1-3..mosley in 4 hell berto maybe in 4..Clottey would break him in 8-10 and williams not to sure about just because he's a soft hitter..but I'd say within 8

 

I agree all those guys would beat Hatton quicker than Mayweather, but he is the RING champion so I'll give him his due at number 1 (reluctantly)

Judah held Linealship, Baldy beat him, and Mayweather beat them both, nuff said.

 

I understand that but c'mon..Baldomir is a journeyman..Judah is inconsistent..Judah was avoiding Margo aswell..Margo was the true welter champ and we know this..Just like we know pac man is the best super feather just like we know casamayor isn't the best lightweight..c'mon
