wow, first person i know that says ali was overrated. well if he is overrated then the other heavyweights dont come close to a guy who is overated. no heavyweight had the resume of an ALI. just look who he beat!
Ali was indeed a great heavyweight and may very well have been the best to ever live; but a top two or three pound-for-pound fighter, he's not.
I respect your opinion , because i have read your posts and know that you know boxing , but im not a Ali fan and i have him at number 2 p4p , i just cant escape from the fact of how good he was in the ring . He did all them things wrong and beat some of the best heavys ever. Just my opinion
You're obviously new around here. Ali's generally regarded as 1 or 2 at heavyweight and, as Mansaa says, in some pfp Top 3's. So he's hardly underrated.
Like i said this is just opinion , my top ten are set in stone , the order of the next 7 is not by any means , but i have put in thr fighters i think deserve it. I think so highly of Roberto Duran , i believe it is him that is as close to a perfect fighter as is possible . His blend of offense and defense is beyond words, but still i cannot have him above Robinson, his resume in his prime just cements him at the top imo . And like i said, Ali's skill speaks for itself. 1. Robinson 2. Ali 3. Duran 4. Greb 5. Pep 6. Armstrong 7. Jofre 8. Louis 9. Mayweather 10.
