lewis threw maybe one or two good uppercuts in his career, i've seen that gif a thousand times. it's nothing special. bowe's the one to watch for heavyweight uppercuts
Both Lewis and Bowe threw good uppercuts. Often Lewis would hold with his left hand when he did it, but it was a big weapon in Holyfield 2, Tyson, Mavrovic (how on earth did he not go down?), Fortune, Mercer, etc...And Bowe landed a shitload of uppercuts in his wins over Holyfield and Coetzer.
He knocks people out with the uppercut, knocks people down with it and has also broken someone's jaw with it as well. Not bad for 12 fights. 2:55 mark: [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D-HvJbRNimM[/ame] 0:18 mark: [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UHn4VQ3U9tU[/ame] 12:45 mark: [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4BGS4yLsWNQ&feature=endscreen&NR=1[/ame]
Zab's uppercut is solid BUT you can spot it from a mile away... Stands there leaning in left and slowly shifting forward... I'd never walk into that...
:adminholy ****, that would of KILLED most top dogs, yet Holy such a Iron Cheen G he didnt go down!:smoke
