Yeah lets give Meehan his shot so we can get rid of him for a while.
But what the hell you think to give Ruiz the bout for the mandatory ...
lets Ruiz beet one or two top 10 contenders first before he get the
privilege to fight for the mandatory spot.
I agree that Chagaev should also beat top 10 contender
to get back into top#3 not mention #1 contender.

Valuev got schooled by Chagaev and we all know what happened to him against Wlad. Valuev refusing to face Wlad on the 20th showed what a joke he was.

funny how haye appeared as the #4 hw out of nowhere in their rankings. I guess talking **** for over a year, getting floored by a shot to **** barrett and bottling two Klitschko fights is more impressive than i thought :yep

 

Giving Meehan a shot wouldn't get rid of him. He'd outwork Valuev or Ruiz to a decision, and he'd knock out Haye. Chagaev would probably beat him, but one would hope that he'd be out of the picture. Once he gets his shot, I think it's very likely that he would win, considering who's in front of him.

 

The WBA is a Prestigious well respected Title.

No, I have been saying that for awhile. The WBA has earned its reputation as perhaps the premier World Title Organization after years of excellance. The Super Champion, Regular Champion and Interim Champion belts are innovative.

 

How exactly have they achieved "years of excellence"? Every boxing fan with a clue knows that "champion" implies one fighter not 3. **** the WBA.
