I would have to say James Buster Douglas was the worst champ. He didn't have one succesful defence. Which champion do you think had the worst skills?

Are you talking about real HW champs only, or beltholders?? If it's real champs, you gotta take Rahman and Shannon Briggs into account. If you're including beltholders, it doesn't get any worse than that cheating fraud John Ruiz, who never "won" a single title fight without holding excessively or faking low blows.

How about Luis Santana? 41-17 in his career, was 3-7-1 in the 11 fights before his title shot, was blown out in just about every significant fight of his career, and won the title only because of a DQ where he faked an injury (then won the rematch because of ANOTHER DQ, then got his ass kicked in the third match).

Here we go again with Ruiz. I think it is that 140 division champ who was clearly knocked out by a columbian fighter and the champ's corner man held him up and the ref was bought. I think it was Juan Coggi. Now, that was bad.

The more this guy posts the more I realize he just doesn't have a clue what he's talking about, though it's become obvious enough by now to everyone.

Douglas was inconsistent, but brilliant on his day. I'd pick him over many a heavyweight champion.

Paulie is a good, pure boxer, and by no means a bad paper champion.

He's legit in my opinion, and is the second best LWW in the world at present. Thats not a 'worst champ'.
