Stupid idea imo. Peterson is decent- you'd need a full training camp for him.

depends what he gets paid. Don't think he loses his British title by fighting.

Wouldn't risk the world ranking with only a week to prepare, especially considering Cayo and Peterson were both only going to be making $12,500 each for the fight in the first place

So universally agreed its not worth it he will get more money for a Brit title fight.

How the hell do the American networks get these fighters to fight for so little money?

Imo, if he is in shape, he should go for it IF the winner is guaranteed a title shot.
I say IF because I know Randall Bailey won an eliminator just to fight another eliminator.

Having a high world ranking means nothing unless it translates to a title shot.
I'd say Peterson would be at the disadvantage in terms of preparing style wise for the awkward Theopane too.

Win lose or draw, it won't effect him making a good payday to defend his title v Gavin.

    Theopane will probably take it.

My thoughts are, why hasn't Tim Coleman gotten the shot?!
