I was amazed at Kelly's entire attitude before and in the fight. From before the fight started he looked like he could not care less and just wanted to come home to...... his money??

His goofy grin to the camera and joking around before Hopkins entered the ring was not at all typical of how focused he usually is.

Why? Underestimating Hopkins? Really not caring?

What do you think made him seem to not care before and in the fight?

I don't think he's been as focused since after the first Taylor fight, lots of money and respect to a young guy can mean trouble sometimes, who knows. Doesn't change the fact that Hopkins would beat him anytime, Pavlik wins by power and Hopkins is too crafty to be hit flush.

I think he just meant that he wasnt going to let this wreck him or anything, not that he didnt care. He meant it in the sense that he will be back and this victory wont do anything but make him better.

I agree. I think Hopkins would beat him even if he was more motivated.

That is not the issue. The issue is why he seemed to uninterested? Perhaps you are right that it is the money. Would be a shame.
