Quality show with Barker and Murray. The Pavlik v Taylor fight was class! Great memories!

Murray trying to wind up macklin! haha

Reckon those three fighters are on the same level, would be great match-ups

Murray and Barker respect each other but the both them clearly don't like Macklin. Matthew thinks he's a big star because he's got an American promoter and a deal with HBO whilst Martin and Darren are still based in Britain and seen down to Earth. Hopefully we see these three fight one another soon.

I think Barker beats both Murray by a wide points victory and Macklin alot closer but Barker coming out on top. When Barker is on form he is a quality operator

Ringside's formula of getting a few fighters in the same weight category on at the same is ****-stirring but it makes for good viewing.

The only thing I would say is that although Adam Smith and Johnny Nelson are keen to stir the pot to get some big domestic fights happening, it is Sky themselves who chose to go down the route of having an exclusive deal with Matchroom which will inevitably throw up some potential problems when trying to make some fights happen.

Shame the three-way was allotted a tiny portion of the show. Macklin did come off as slightly disdainful towards Barker and Murray, but if he does pick up a title off a Geale or Quillin; he ain't beating the other two, then it makes perfect sense.

Would be interesting series of fights.Murray is taking on a fight that unless he stops Martinez which i don't think he will he will not win on the scorecards unless he wins at least 8 rounds clearly.Any fighter going into the backyard of a national hero likr Martinez is already behind the 8 ball.Think Murray will be stopped middle rounds.

Macklin would beat Barker more seasoned & the fact that Darren has had lots of out of ring injuries doesn't help he couldn't do roadwork for a long time due to hip problems they say it's ok but his career for me poses as many questions as answers.

Macklin came across a **** tonight and he needs to be added to my deluded thread. Thinks he is a superstar, but really he is european level at most. He never won that sturm fight, he goes on it was the biggest robbery in boxing history, but he blew it when he stopped fighting towards the end.

Also think barker and murray are no more then european level but they are honest, decent guys. Not deluded like 'irish' macklin

mack kinda made himself to be the bad guy out of the 3..if that somehow pushes more interest for potential fights against the two, then kudos to him and boxing.

At the end of the day none of them can really say anything until one of them picks up a world title regardless of what belt it is.

I thought Murray was very good value tonight, but he's more Richard Abril than Watson/Benn/Eubank.
Macklin deserved to cop that **** for not turning up.Didn't even have the decency to come up with an entertaining excuse.
Still think Barker is the best of the three on his game.

Think both Barker and Murray beat Macklin. Don't rate him at all, never have. Good talker though, and I think he uses that to promote himself to a level that his talent does not merit. Have to laugh at him mentioning names like Alcine and Elcock in regards to his CV as well. Alcine is complete garbage.
