1.99 a month seems like a steal considering the fights coming up. Anyone else thinking of signing up?

I’m considering it for this weekend but I’ve had a lot of success recently with rowing my boat recently so might just stick with that.

I signed up. Got a couple of decent fight with Canelo v Smith and Garcia v Campbell.

Told my mate in OZ to sign up and they get the AJ fights and all the UK content for the same price.

Not sure what else they on the horizon but if they bump the price I'm out.

They will inevitably bump the price up. They will do it in small increments. Six months, it'll be 2.99, then a year it will be 3.99. Until they have a big subscription base.
I will probably sign up just for Canelo Vs Smith. I'm just not sure how much use I'm going to get out of it. I'm to old for staying up to 4am in the morning unless it's a really big fight. 90% of fights on DAZN will probably be international US fights, I can't see there being many UK fights as BT and Sky have pretty much the whole market to themselves.

That's the thing about the app, you don't have to stay up and can watch it the next day.

I can’t see DAZN charging anymore than a fiver a month unless more rights/sports are added.

How the Sky/DAZN relationship works going forward is very interesting given the massive additional cost to UK/Ireland subscribers for Joshua PPVs. It doesn’t seem particularly fair to charge a couple of quid a month in many territories for all content when we are having to shell out £25 twice a year- one Joshua PPV costs more than an entire year of DAZN as it stands.

I actually think the market would have taken to a fiver a month from the start with a discount for a years subscription initially. A couple of quid a month is ridiculously good value and surely can’t last more than six months.

As it stands I’d sign up as it’s better value than any current streaming platform.

DAZN need to get some premier league football to become a player in this country.
If they don't they will fail.
    Good value atm though.

Yes I believe you can watch the fights anytime afterwards.

I don't mean to be a misery guts but I think everybody can afford £1.99. You're incredibly cheap if you can't. Whether it goes up in the future is neither here or there, it's £1.99 at the moment and you get 3 excellent fight shows. I have no problem with people not wanting to pay for a PPV and looking for other ways to view but using illegal streams instead of paying £2 is something even Scrooge himself would turn his nose up at. If we love the sport and want it to survive, we have to invest in it in some form.

I'm gonna get it this weekend. Even for £2 it's worth it for the fight.

I’ll be signing. Yes, other means available but saves me staying up until 3AM

It was hard to ignore the plethora of DAZN signals around the Mersey at the weekend - so many that the Bizzies were struggling to communicate on their radios.

We already pay more than enough through subscriptions to Sly Sports, BT Sports and Premier Sports.

Any new streaming entrants whether Amazon Prime and DAZN can get to fook.

DAZN widely available in the UK and it is so hard to avoid it when out fishing.

Yes, and at £24.95 it’s understandable but £1.99, that’s shameful
