I really enjoy his podcasts, sometimes he can be biased but i still find him incredibly entertaining and he's got loads of crazy stories. Back in the day he used to post on this site and even give us a shout out on his tv show bit the clique drove him off the site by hurling abuse at him.
Mixed. He's a been a good host on BN as he loves the sport, which is crucial in a host. But he can be very very bias toward British fighters and loves some hyperbolic hot takes.
Is a good host but I would respect him more if he didn’t blow smoke up the arses of every British fighter, pretending that they are world class when they clearly aren’t. He hasn’t provided any technical boxing insights that I think are of interest, as some of the better YouTube channels do. Him and Kalle must get on like a house on fire because he loves his Colombians when he is on an overnight show.
I like Buncey. He is bit like marmite. Some quality stories he has, however he can be full of **** as well.
I wouldn't say that's his job. He's a journalist, suited more to the host/presenter role. They get the former pro's on to do that.
Bunce is engaging, enthusiastic, and a great story teller. Like any sport, people criticize those who are getting paid to talk about something that they love, and its just because they wish they could get paid for doing it.
He's not my cup of tea tbh but I understand why some would like him same way some people like Jeremy Clarkson, too hyperbolic for me.
Bunce is a colour guy not play by play. You listen to him for stories about hitman in Panama forcing some Thai guy to take a dive in the 76 olympics, not about the benefits of a check-hook
I like Bunce. He does come out with outrageous statements, more so now on BT, but he has forgotten more about boxing than alot of people know.
Got some good tales Bunce but speaks utter wank at times too. He spews a lot of obvious shite for the morons. Preferred him back in his setanta days. His passion for the sport is undeniable though. He was mostly alright when he posted in the Brit forum tbf.
