Thurman almost killed Soto-Karass. Glad the ref stopped that when he did. In the ring, Keith Thurman comes to fight every time and is hungry. That's what's clear. He might do really big things in 2014.

your hating on him for calling people out? i think its awesome he is making a name for himself inside the rings but is not just letting the fights come to him HE IS LETTING HIS VOICE BE HERD.. and thats what all boxers should be doing.. no hiding behind promoters
He's trying too hard...he has the talent no doubt and that will get him where he wants to be... so there is no need for him to be calling people out and being louder than he normally would be... over the past year though he seems to think that he needs to open his mouth... he should just stay cool & continue doing his job like Maidana...
Negative. I love this kids attitude. Throws a wicked 45 like Razor Ruddock. Can box pretty good. Always in excellent condition. He's not afraid to trade leather. And has the balls to call out May weather. What not to like?!
Exactly. He's a great fighter, but he has no business being on a mic. He's just not a likable guy. I think he's a hell of a fighter though.
I could def. see that. Thurman should have 3 fights in 2014 and 1 should be the fight before Floyd's on his Sept. PPV setting up a fight with Floyd.
Thurman might be one of the few fighters where you'll have everybody on this forum support him. I thought it felt cold today, perhaps Hell froze over.... Seems like many people here are fans. I know I am. I don't know what is ahead for Thurman in regard to his place in boxing history, but I know I will be watching his career with interest. And I'll say it again: Thurman comes across as very confident, without coming across as arrogant. Tough to pull off. The guy is class, just my opinion.
I'm a big fan of both Thurman and Paulie. Got no issue with the post-fight call out whatsoever, although it's not easy getting the edge on Paulie's HOF caliber trash talk
