I am on Holiday with the wife in NY when the Khan fight is on. Seems like too good an opportunity to miss. Anyone have experience buying fight tickets for the MSG who can give me advise on good seats and where and when to purchase then?

Give them a call, IIRC you can pay and pick the tickets up when you get over there.

as GazOc says you can buy in advance and pick them up over there ("International Will call" is the term for that).

Can buy direct from the site I posted or ticketmaster

I don't think this is in the main MSG arena itself, something tells me its in the smaller WaMu theater there-where the second Diaz fight was.

I thought that too but you would have thought it would be listed as such wouldn't you? No mention on the MSG website. All will become clear when tickets go on sale I guess

I dunno, I seem to recall thinking how flat the seating looked at the Diaz fight. Not quite Excel Arena flat though. I might be wrong.

    http://www.thegarden.com/tickets/?event_type=3

Scroll down to the bottom of the page, and it says its at "The theater at MSG"

I'd love to go an watch a big fight at the proper MSG, but there seems to be less and less there these days. I'd imagine it'd be a dam site cheaper for us over here than if it was in Vegas.

    I stand corrected.

Apparently one reason less boxing ends up there is that taxes in NY are much higher than in, for example Vegas.
