i wish they'd replace him as a commenter. He says YOU KNOW waaaaay too much! More than anyone i can think of. What causes that? Is it a person's mouth working faster than their brain can think of things to say? i like everyone else speaking but him...
I find his commentary dumb and what's up with his bouts of laughing when nothing funny has been said and there's just dead air on the other end? I think he's an ok dude, bit weird and terrible commentator.
He's the only one I can actually bear listening to out of that entire crew. I find Kriegel repellent in the extreme, and downright detestable. Tessitore is a corporate droid stooge and Andre Ward is the auditory version of watching paint dry.
YES! I ****ing hate that little girl giggle he does. ****ing annoyed the **** out of me when Fury was beating up that overmatched German. It was in poor taste and unprofessional as well. And hes done so in other bouts as well. ESPN is basically always on mute for me.
I am fine with Ward but fully agree with Tessitore and Kriegel. They make my brain hurt. ....Maybe I am fine with Ward because those two are just so bad?
How the heck Krtegel got that job I'll never know He has about as much charisma as used toilet tissue & Ward always has that damn sneer on his face that you feel you'd like to knock off. Probably, it's not that Andre is annoying, he's just dull, whereas those other two are genuinely repulsive and frustrating to listen to. As bad as the DAZN crew is, the only one that comes close to matching their douchiness is Chris Mannix.
Mannix cannot read a fight to save himself. He's got a bit of Brian Kenny about him only worse. Literally every fight I watch that Mannix is calling and he is asked how he is scoring it and I am, like, WTF ?
Yeah what's up with Timmy quoting teddy atlas? For the fighters interview he said he watched for each ones Godzilla monster that they carry along. He said one fighter had a huge Godzilla monster hanging around him, while the calmer fighter had no Godzilla monster. I mean, flattery is the biggest form of compliments, but sheesh lay off the teddy atlas' one liners!
I don't care for any of them honestly. Ward sounds the most like a competent announcer but seems to make up his mind about a fight or fighter early and not change it based on what is happening in the ring.
I'm grateful boxing is back. I more or less like them all. I think I like Tim the most, he is a fighters fighter, and he is doing the best he can, he's not a career comentator. In general I am annoyed by comentators now days though. Way to much talking going on. On PBC they drive me nuts.Good thing for the mute botton. In general as I get older I get more agitated by commercials and people constantly talking to me or trying to sell me something. You all should give Tim a break, he's doing a good job, and he has a job that doesnt require getting hit on the head.
