Mayweather probably pulls it off. Tito is huge though and is going to stalk non stop. Hopkins took 11 rounds to make him finally stop following him and pressurung him. I think Floyd wins this but Trinidad is dangerous the entire fight.
Trinidad wins by UD or late stoppage. Way too busy and hard hitting. Floyd would be too defensive to win on points, and, doesn't have anywhere near the power necessary to stop Tito. Tito has tremendous physical advantages over Floyd. Something almost NONE of Floyd's opponents did.
My thoughts also Bert. No one May Jr. Faced at welterweight had the combination of size, power , and speed of Prime Trinidad. Though he could get a little robotic and predictable, Trinidad had the physicality to simply overwhelm May Jr. especially with his lack of fire power to keep him honest. Trinidad may not Ko Mayweather, but his physicality, and aggression, would keep him defensive minded only. Trinidad wins a UD. Trinidad vs Whitaker comes to mind.
THIS!!!! Is the most likely scenario. I don't believe Mayweather Jr. Could be paid enough money to take on a dangerous opponent like Trinidad who wasn't damaged goods, or past prime. At least not the welterweight/ Jr. Middleweight versions of Mayweather.
I agree 100%. Tito is just too strong and powerful and as brilliant as Floyd was, he simply didn't have the physicality to deal with a monster like Tito.
