Socrates was a fat, bald, little **** with a beard. Good motivation though I suppose.

I made that up because I'm annoyed by those people. They see muscle and automatically assume that must mean you're an uneducated moron. Being a fragile ****wit doesn't make you Einstein.

Amen. No acceptable reason or excuse for being fat.

And contrary to popular belief these days, there is shame in it. Just like there is shame in being a dumb, uneducated **** stain. Build may be genetic, but shape isn't.

There really is no excuse. Especially with all the scientific advances in things like the treadmill and the stairmaster. If you are overweight, there is a reason, and its not 'it runs in the family.' The only thing running through the family is gravy. When I see large people at KFC or McDonalds, I wonder if they just dont care about being healthy.

    Indeed

And when they see you at KFC or McDonalds they convince themselves the food has nothing to do with their fatness.

I'm addicted to Big Macs. Can't help it, I need one each week. They're not that bad. It's the ultra salt fries and the disgusting gallon of coke that make a menu bad.

The main reason most people stay fat nowadays is because when they actually try to workout or go on a diet, they do it for like 1 week and don't see any results so they give up and complain that they tried so hard.
I absolutely hate people like that.
Here is a quote for people like that.

"Nothing in this world that's worth having comes easy."

Also I agree with RDJ on the food. I like to treat myself to some fastfood or junkfood once or twice a week, but I also workout everyday for a few hours.

    It is no surprise.

They train for short periods of time to be in optimal shape.

The majority of Heavyweights, because of their body type, will put on a lot weight when they retire due of their training patterns of the past.

It will also apply to some of the smaller guys.
