billy you started a thread about george groves on second hand information and since then george has put an apology to tony oakey on his website and came on here to let everybody know he was mis-quoted. come on billy show you are the man we think you are and apoligise for the hate thread started.
Theres sticking up for a friend, but theres also jumping to conclusions and to say some of those things with no real hard evidence in the 'media eye' is a bit OTT. Most people understood what George meant, I don't even really know how people can misquote him. Either way, he's gone out of his way to come out and clear everything up which he didn't have to do so fair play to him. George Groves will go far and beyond domestic level if he keeps a straight head and continues to work hard Billy, surely someone who's been around the game and seen it like you have done, must realise that?

Like many of us are responsible for our actions when we've said something derogatory about a fighter that might not of been true, now you want Billy to absolve himself?
I see what you are saying but it's a bit different. He should know better than most that boxers get misquoted, plus he's got his professional reputation to uphold so I'd expect him to be a bit more considered than the keyboard warriors on here who have no actual identity.
Billy doesn't like Groves so he has to make an apology haha **** me half of us on here would be making dozens of threads a day, who cares Billy got his wires crossed hates Groves and publicly made sure we new.

It's got nothing to do with an element of truth, his explanation makes perfect sense I can't see why you dont except that.
