Just listened to you on Main event show and what a disgrace you are. You said you don't want Crolla vs Limmond or Nigel Wright because you have to protect the fighters health etc as these guys are much bigger!!!! Why doesn't Crolla move down to 130 lbs then??? Crolla fought Watson who was a huge lightweight.

 

i got crucified for saying this last week.

 

In other words what Joe is saying is that Limmond and Wright would beat Crolla

 

He said this?!? Can't do much for Crolla's confidence

Before people start slagging off crolla..i think he has the balls to fight any british lightweight..gallagher is taking on the freddie roach theory of being there trainer and promoter which isn't good. if he isn't going to fight the best at 135 then go back to 130 where he should be anyway

 

If this is correct its shocking if the fighter can make the weight then thats what matters.

 

Is it not up to the manager or promoter who he fights,and joe just a trainer

I don't see there's anything wrong in Gallagher saying who he'd rather his guys didn't fight. It's only if he actively gets in the way of the fight. Has anyone got a transcript of the interview?
