Anyone see todays paper where a few boxing identities are asked who we should watch out for in 09? Troy Waters embarrassed himself by having Shannon Taylor on his list in my opinion. Im a big fan of Waters, both as a fighter and commentater, but this is just rediculous. What was he thinking?
I wish i still had it, but i gave it to the in-laws. The usual were mentioned......Mundine, Vic, Bika, Kickett, Dib, Meehan, etc. The guys they asked were, Danny Green, Troy Waters, Dino Boulinghurst (spelling), and 1 0r 2 others, i cant remember. I just couldnt believe Waters said Taylor. I think we all agree Geale isnt up to the top Middleweights, yet we think he'd accommadate Taylor no worries, so why did Waters mention Shannon?
I can't believe Kali Meehan was only on 1 list. He is the mandatory and a great chance of beating Valuev.

What about Dibb being in the paper on Sat with all his bull**** about visiting the Mecca and how he is going to be a more aggressive more slicker boxer now he has made the journey of a lifetime..Made me laugh seeing in his picture a bloke in the background on his mobile.lol. Also couldnt believe Dibb actually thinks his stocks have risen since his defeat.The bloke shouldnt of even got a title shot..He was the recipient of a gift decision in the previous bout....
I agree, that article was totally bogus. Are Dibbs people paying for these crap stories or what? There seems to be an agenda to give him lots of media coverage.
most boxing articles in the mainstream media are bogus. I only read the articles where they report facts with evidence or quotes, not the opinion articles.
