Just watched the sky talk with him and got to say what a gentleman. Tommy coyly and his fighting style is a credit to British boxing. If he does bow out now he can no regrets on a wonderful career. He gives credit to every boxer he fights which is unusual in modern boxing. Definite future film to be made about his career.
He'll forever have the respect of all British boxing fans. That in itself is a hell of an achievement. Hope he's made enough money to enjoy his life and retires. He's been in wars throughout his career, doesn't need to take further punishment.
Matchroom would hopefully give him some sort of role, he deserves it and is a good ambassador for the sport
Yes an absolute gentleman. He should retire now, regardless of the urge to carry on. His style is not built for longevity. Tommy is a credit to British Boxing.
He says himself that he’s lucky he’s in a position that he doesn’t need to box for the money. For that reason, he should retire. He’s had a brilliant career and he’s well thought of and he’s still got his marbles (from listening to him recently).
