Does Toney outpoint him or Does Wilder become the first man to KO Toney?

Toney does like to have a look, and that's how Wilder gets his KOs.

Wilder might be too tall and too long

Toney is the better boxer but I don't think it's enough

If he tried to gunsling all day then Toney may outpoint him though

For some reason I see Wilder sleeping Toney badly. Toney actually got hit a lot.

Toney was an incredible fighter and one of the best ever between 160-175. However I think Wilder would have been too much. He beat an ageing Holyfield and John Ruiz who I don’t rate near a prime Deontay. I think Wilder stops him eventually, with some trouble early on.

Toney's shoulder roll defence was tailor made to roll with right hands. So I think Toney would be cute enough to avoid getting hit flush by Wilders right hand. The problem is for Toney is that Wilder is so much taller with longer reach it's hard to see how Toney could be effective.

If he could somehow close the distance on Wilder and get on the inside, then the much more skillful Toney would beat the brakes off Wilder on the inside.

The problem is I don't see Toney getting in close often enough so I'll go with Wilder by decision.

Toney is by far a superior P4P fighter though.

Toney of the holyfield and booker fights by decision, after that Wilder by decisions for the reasons outlined above.
Fat toney wont get close enough consistently enough
