Toney vs Arreola

Would Arreola be the first guy to stop Toney? Is JT still slick enough to take advantage of Arreolas obvious weaknesses? Does Toney have enough pop to keep Arreola off him? Id love to see this fight if Arreola beats Mcline.

 

Toney would take it by pretty clear UD.
Arreollas style suits well for Toney. However that is if Toney come in decent shape, he can’t be heavier than 230lbs.
If he comes heavier than 230lbs and it will be hard fight for Toney.

 

I think an over-the-hill Toney still has too much polish for the inexperienced, wild Arreola.

 

I think they both suck equally; just in different ways. I say that Toney wins because there was a time that he did not suck; but, Arreola has sucked his whole life.

 

I think Arreola would be the first to stop Toney. Arreola would be able to handle Toney's non-steroid induced punches and pressure him until he could take no more. Ten years ago Toney would've beat Arreola and probably stopped him. But the current Toney is starting to squeak, Arreola is a young well oiled machine.

 

Toney could hardly beat low grade clubfighter Danny Batchhelder. I believe the slurring, obese Toney is now easy pickins for anyone decent, and that would include Arreola.

 

I'm a fan of Toney but lets face reality...James Toney is damn near shot...He barley got by Fres Oquenda (however you spell his last name) He barley got by Danny Batchhelder...That there says alot his past performance...I hate to say it but I would favor Chris Arreol over the Toney at this point of Toney's career.

 

Toney is a fat slob but he has skills in the ring and a very strong chin. Toney by UD.

 

you guys are crazy! the toney of 2003 - maybe. but the late toney has nothing to offer, how is he going to get a ud - by getting hit and not hitting himself? arreola would send him straight to retirement. think about it: peter outboxed toney three years ago, and arreola is maybe more dangerous than peter and approaching is prime.

If he beat Mccline in style and wlad keeps acting like a *****,, that fight should be made. That fight would make BIG C even more a star in the HWD,, plus if he wins , it would be good for his record and the divsion. He is a good slugger ,, but i think he starting to get in shape and working on boxing skills more.
