Watched the second fight and i have always heard this was some highway robbery and that Toney was robbed. Well i disagree and i had Griffin an easy winner 8-4 i think to many people were swayed by the bias of the HBO commentary team.

It was a close fight . I don't have any particular problem with the outcome , but such fights should better be scored / considered as draws.

I thought Toney won the first fight and I scored the second fight for Toney though I feel it should've been a draw. Both close but I scored both for Toney.

Toney went through his lazy disinterested spell but I felt he lost both fights. Griffin was a tough trick to figure out especially for a fighter who liked to fight in close or counter. Griffin was short with really long arms and likes to counterpunch. A suprising style for an Eddie Futch fighter
