Brutal uppercuts. For all the **** said about Espino at least he came to fight unlike a few other fighters.
Well that was short but sweet. I said Espino's tactics were crazy and it certainly was, fortunately he had the heart to pull it off for a while. The good thing was it looked like the old Kelly Pavlik, he was throwing with bad intentions and his hand seemed to be no problem. Let's hope for the meaningful fights now. I still think he's a top top fighter that would give anybody 160-168 a brutal night.
Good call. Espino is a tough nut but he was only going to get hurt in there. Pavliks defence looks to have been improved.
If i started doubting him because of all the PW stuff etc i don't now. I agree he is a top fighter, especially at 160. Interesting to see who he draws next..
There were whispers about Bute too since Bute isn't in the tourny. That would be a tremendous fight with different styles. Pavlik still wants Williams though.
That he was never really hurt and was a top 5-10 160lber , when asked if he was genuine middleweight he said he couldn't get past 156 without a real struggle.
Just said he can't make 154, did he go on after saying he was a top 10 middleweight i zoned out after reading Macklin would beat Pavlik on the general
