I see a lot of people on this site bigging him up, so i had a look at his boxrec and saw he had been knocked down by Jevgenijs Andrejevs, has anybody seen this fight that can tell me if this was just a flash knockdown or bellew has a dodgy biscuit tin? thanks in advance
He didn't get caught flush... It was a flash knock down!! I've spoken to him a few times on here & he's a really nice fella!!! He know's his boxing... Good luck to the man!! REALLY REALLY GOOD fighter with bags of protential.. He'll definetly go far in the sport if he continues the way he is going!!

Fast hand, good foot movement & he can bang a bit aswell!! I want to see him in with a real test soon.. There talking about Cleverly but i personally thinks its a bit to early for him... Mayb Mcintosh
ive just seen a vid of him, and hes nothing special above domestic level and cleverly would probably do a job on him.... all the best to him though
He didnt get knocked down. It's plain to see in the replay. Tony is the best we've got at light heavy domestically right now. I think with one more fight against a live opponent he'll then go on to beat cleverly, who is a good fighter, but bellew has power and real spite in his punches to go with his height and reach. Top fella that love's his boxing and studies it, which i think will show when he steps up that he's not just a banger.
Bellew is great fighter definetly rate him up there with the best in britain, Would back him to get as far as european title.
The knockdown was replayed 4 times by sky and it was very clear the punch hit me on the left tit, I've been working the chest muscles ever since..:good:yep:good I just hope it hold up next time I was switching from orthodox to southpaw and got hit on the chest, My fault but never a knockdown in a month of sundays.. As for Dave Maker, I do have a chin like fine china mate, I've been on the floor countless times now, Im thinking of giving this game up to be honest, It's just too damn hard..
