I think Bellew seems quite a grounded sort of guy, and will realise that despite blowing the opponent away inside a round - he really wasn't all that good, certainly not a championship standard opponent.

But isn't that what you are supposed to do with inferior opposition that you are faced with..... blow them away quickly?

If he'd been taken the distance like Munroe was by an equally bad African we'd all be on his case.

It's plainly obvious that he needs a really stern test, as does Brook, Cleverly and most other FW prospects. None of those bull**** intercontinental titles though - firstly, they don't mean ****all, and secondly, the opponents are generally shite.

To me it's no better than the stunts Mickey Duff used to pull in the 70's and 80's.

Lose the obsession with the '0' - sometimes a loss in a learning fight is more helpful then getting to 30-0 without facing anyone good :deal

He shuld fight the likes of Otis Griffin, Chris Henry, Epifonza Mendoza and maybe even Richard Hall in his next couple of fights. If his suitably past it why not bring over Montell Griffin.

These guys will not duck him if you pay them enough

It's true that of FW's prospects Bellew, Clev and Brook have been in pretty soft so far considering their talent.

I would defend Clev slightly in that he could only fight the best in Britain at the time which he did, Bellew wasn't really in title contention at the time, yeah he did the Afrobum circuit for a few fights but then he went for the Euro title, it just so happens that beltholder was rubbish too. Plus he's not even full-time boxing at the moment. Not a whole lot different they could have done with him, I think he's in a good position for 19 fights or whatever it is.

I think if you are a top class talent after 20 fights you should be bordering on world titles, Clev isn't too far off that as his Ring ranking shows.

Yeah I'd give Cleverly a bit of a free pass.

Before moving into championship fights his opposition wasn't that bad - not far off some of the opponents he's been in with actually.... a stoppage win over Quigley looks decent on his slate.

Plus as you say he's beaten everyone domestically barring Bellew.

Brook's record is terrible - I know he was probably affected by late withdrawals but even so..... awful!

His title level opposition hasn't been great, Stuart Elwell was absolutely gash, McIntyre was a decent win though..... Lomax wasn't any great shakes. It's just a shame that the Jennings fight never materialised, would have given a good idea of where he was at.

I like to see fighters moved quickly rather than being made to wait - you can wait forever for a weak champion and end up past your best by the time you get your opportunity.

If you are good enough, you ought to be in there competing..... if you aren't, fight at your level.

Hopefully this will apply to the lads from the Olympics, plus Groves and the others.

Tony has openly said that he will fight anyone and has said he will take less money to fight others who are then not up for the fight...:yep

McKenzie wanted the fight with Tony but it was pulled from underneath their feet...:-(

I would like Tony to get all the belts but I think that his hand maybe forced to take another route, which ain't a problem, because whatever route he takes he will clean up...:yep

Hopefully in the next 18mths we will have Bellew v Cleverley...:happy

Thanks again for all the support on here, It took me 10 mins to read through all that and Im happy most of you enjoyed it, I don't believe for 1 min Atoli Moore was world class or even championship class BUT what can I do?? Tony Oakey was offered the fight 6 weeks ago, McKenzie was withdrawn by Maloney, Fry said no!! I said I'd take less money to fight either of them!!

Rob I understand your points mate but it's quite simple I wanna fight people but for some reason they ain't having it?? I shouted to the camera NEXT cos I wanna be out again soon and I never expected it to end in the first like that..

I'll be totally honest guys I ain't over the moon with the performance as I started slow cos in the back of my mind I was thinking I've got 12 rounds just take my time!! It wasn't until I heard Arnie scream ****ing open up I let the right hand go!! I was trying to just have a look at him and see what he had, Once the first right landed that was that..

Once again I wanna thank all you guys for your support cos I really appreciate it, I stated at a press coneference after the fight that I'll fight anyone!! I called on McKenzie,McIntosh,Barney,Oakey ANYONE in Britian, I just wanna fight were people say he can loose this one then you guys will really see the best of me!!

No point in me going on about Clev cos the fight ain't happening for a while yet and I ain't so sure he's gonna stay unbeaten but all I'll say is when/if we do finally meet I'll have the tools to do him..

    :good:good;):good:good

Great to see you win Tony, but you could beat the likes of Moore in your sleep. Hope to see you at the next level now lad.
