    I'm counting Hispanics and latinos as whites as well otherwise I can only think of Ricky Hatton as the only white champ in the last 30 years.

    More pointless than the white heavyweights thread? Sorry, it's interesting to me that we've had so few quality white welterweights in recent decades.

    That's just a nickname they gave him for the way he looks.

    Maidana's Oriental features can come either from the Native Americans or even from Regions of Europe which were invaded by Mongols and Tatars such as Lithuania and Hungary. The American Actor Charles Bronson had a similar look and his father was of European Lithuanian Tatar descent.

    Bruce Lee is partially German but is considered Chinese. Tiger Woods is half Thai Asian but is considered black.
