I agree, though I did read on his little blog about how Wlad ****ed him over and refused to fight him after he won the WBO belt, but there really was no proof to his claim, and it's pretty clear he hates both Wlad and Peter.
I used to like Briggs a lot back in the day but he really showed his true colors when he said Liakhovich was racist & then admitted he made that all up to sell tickets. That's cheesey to say the least. It certainly wasn't the first time race was used to promote a fight but it's the underhanded way he accused Sergei of saying **** he never said.
I hear what your saying RUSKULL, he was just taking a page out of Tyson's book with some of his comments. I have followed Briggs for many years now and one thing that is very clear about him, he tries too hard to be like Tyson. Watch after the weigh-in, he was talking alot of **** to Sergei, then at the end he called him a ****ing ****** in a Tyson like voice. Briggs comes off as a funny guy, but also a baby about things as well. He's always complaining about something it seems, wether it's race based or his asthma, which he seems use as an excuse anytime he loses.
Thats my opinion. I think Minto is quite a good guy. He gives every Heavyweight a hard fight. I hope his next oponend is a better one. @401Tank Why do you waint for Minto getting exposed? You guys here in Amerika should be glad about every single Heavyweight whos around. It is the same situation as in germany. Good HW Boxers have become rare.
The likes of Thomas, Page (on song), 'Spoon, Weaver, Williams and Dokes would fare very well amongst this current crop. Wald would be considered the main opposition, but even then the best two from this list are his equal at least. Imagine Tyson and Holmes fighting now. They'd have it mostly easy.
