Besides the olympics and the AIBA world championships which occur every 4 years and 2 years respectively. Do you guys know of any other good matches to watch. I know of the world series of boxing, but are there any other large amateur events that are worth watching. I was reading in the selection process of world series of boxing that they must have participated in an elite event. so I guess there are others. What would count as one of those elite events??

    International:

    European Championships.
    Commonwealth Games.
    Pan American Games.

Also worth watching are the youth versions (17-18 year olds) of these events.

    In the UK:

    ABA Elite Championships.
3 Nations Championship (ABA winners / finalists from England, Scotland and Wales).
    Junior ABA's
CYP's (Clubs for young people championships) - recently changed it's name but can't remember it ...
